Okay ladies, if you are anything like me, you love cooking but don’t have time to slave in the kitchen all day long to make a delicious and healthy meal…

so what do you do?

NO YOU DON’T ORDER OUT!!! Common! Have I not taught you anything haha

I kid, I kid!

No, but seriously, what do you do?

Well you bring out the crock pot from underneath the counter and you put it to use, so not only your dinner is done by the time you start to winding down for the night, and plus your house smells like yummy scentsy fragrances but it’s actually real food!!! HA!

I call that a win win!!!

So let’s get to it, shall we?

There is nothing like some hot, soup or stew in the chilly fall, am I right? Well here you go!


Here is what you need:

1 tsp olive oil

1 lb. 10 oz raw lean beef stew meat

1 medium onion chopped

2 medium carrot, sliced

3 medium celery stalks, chopped

4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

8 cups low-sodium beef broth (you can use 4-6 cups if you like it thicker)

1/2 cup red wine

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 tsp ground black pepper

3 bay leaves

1 can diced tomatoes

2 large sweet potatoes, cut into 1 in cubes

Now what you do with all of that:

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat
  2. Cook stew meat over coconut oil, stirring frequently, for 4 to 5 minutes, or until browned
  3. Add broth, and chopped veggies in crock pot.
  4. After meat is thoroughly cooked, add on top of veggies
  5.  Top with salt, pepper, bay leaves.
  6. Cook in slow cooker on low for 8 hours or high for  5 hours
